JRNL ("we", "us") is a trading journal for futures and prop-firm traders, available at jrnltrades.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: eli@ambrixstudio.com.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address and name. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google name, email address and profile picture. We never see your Google password.
• Your journal: trades, accounts, notes, tags, rules, screenshots, settings and anything else you add or import.
• Technical data: basic logs (such as IP address, browser type and error reports) that our hosting providers record to keep the service running and secure.

How we use it

• To create your account, sign you in and keep your journal saved and synced.
• To calculate your stats, render PnL cards and run the features you use.
• To keep JRNL secure, fix problems and improve the product.
• To email you about your account (for example, sign-up confirmation and password resets).

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your journal data for advertising.

Who processes your data

We use trusted providers to run JRNL: Supabase (authentication and database), Cloudflare (website hosting and file storage), Railway (video rendering) and Google (if you choose Google sign-in). They process data on our behalf only to provide their services.

Browser storage

JRNL stores your sign-in session and a few display preferences (such as theme) in your browser. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and journal at any time by emailing eli@ambrixstudio.com; we will delete it within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records by law. Rendered card videos are deleted automatically within a day.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and each account's data is isolated so only you can access it. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Children

JRNL is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we make material changes, we will update this page and the date above, and notify you in the app or by email.
